This book was so good! It has wonderful characters and a great story line. I loved how the animals and humans interacted with each other. It hooks you on the first page and doesn’t let go. I loved it!

Babette, I had to read over [your email] 3 times so I could digest it all and not sob (happy sob and some sad for my foster dog Smartie’s past). Turns out, just after you did the healing session, Smartie, Puppy, and Isabella (my youngster) were all 3 playing outside. Wow, just wow. Made me so darn happy to know my instincts were spot on and that you were able to reach him. It was absolutely night and day from the morning hours. I immediately told Smartie he WAS Smart and loved and was safe! His behavior has been so much dialed down in the aggression department, it’s incredible!
Thank you again!
Babette, your help with Bailey enabled us to have a deeper and stronger connection and brought us even closer. Being able to check in with Bailey regularly while she was at the end of her life made it possible for me to be able to include her on important decisions, including the most important decision: when it was the best time to help her move on as her physical body gave out. Having the ability to get Bailey’s input was priceless especially at the end when my heart was breaking, my judgement felt clouded, and I didn’t know the best way forward. Your invaluable communication skills and empathetic guidance made my pain and grief bearable knowing that it was our joint decision based on her wishes and her quality of life. The peace that brings can’t be measured and I owe you a debt of gratitude I can never repay. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
For almost seven years, Gracie, my rescued boxer, lived a healthy, active life with no significant medical concerns. In the last six months of Gracie’s life, she became more and more listless. I thought she was just taking it easier as she approached her senior years but I couldn’t have been more wrong. She began gagging, retching and vomiting and her appetite dropped quickly. We visited the vet, repeatedly, sometimes several times a week, to no avail. She grew increasingly weak and thin. At my wits end, following Gracie not eating or drinking for four days, and doing nothing more than sleeping in my closet, I contacted my vet and said we had to do something else. I wanted to contact an animal communicator to ask Gracie why she couldn’t eat, and tell us what was hurting. My vet confirmed he knew about Babette’s ability to communicate with their animals, with quite impressive results.
Within less than 30 minutes of sending my email to Babette, Gracie, who had been sleeping all day, emerged and came to me. She lapped up warm broth and even drank some water. I could tell that Babette was the catalyst that prompted Gracie to come out of my closet because of the time stamps on our emails back and forth. Babette had communicated with Gracie and given Gracie an energy healing session. Babette convinced Gracie that she wasn’t going to continue living if she didn’t start taking in food and water.
Of the most significantly profound moments I have experienced in my life, I am ever so grateful for what Babette was able to do during this extremely dark time. Ultimately, I learned Gracie had lymphoma. The diagnosis was so slow in coming that by the time we had the answer to why Gracie was so ill, the prognosis for remission was very poor. Nonetheless, Babette remained in Gracie’s circle of healing to help Gracie through vet visits, surgery and chemo. I continued to coordinate with Babette, who gave Gracie energy healing treatments to help her cope through whatever medical process she was facing. It made all the difference in the world for Gracie’s quality of life during the last month she was with me. Without Babette’s ability to support Gracie in the spiritual realm, I would have had to let Gracie go much sooner. I also would not have had the privilege of knowing Gracie on a deeper level than I ever dreamed was possible. Learning about Babette earlier would have made me a better animal guardian and enriched our bonds of love and respect even more. If you genuinely want to improve the lives of your animals, and believe they have something to tell you that you should hear, Babette can be that bridge between you. Even though Gracie’s earthly time was limited, I will be forever grateful that Babette gave Gracie relief and comfort through her physical pain, and helped ease her transition from physical to spiritual, as well.
When one person or animal in a household has a problem, it affects everyone else in the family. And of course, it’s never just one person or animal–we all have our own baggage! A family is a living, changing organism, an interconnected matrix of ever-evolving moving parts. So when a client’s animal is the symptom-bearer of a family issue, it’s best to do energy healing for the entire family. That always effects a faster, more complete resolution than treating the symptom-bearer alone.
I also do an energy healing session every time I teach a class, or mentor a student, in order to set the stage for an optimal experience. Learning to communicate with animals is a spiritual path, and the process often brings up baggage that needs to be reviewed, blessed, and set to rest. I am lucky to have been asked to teach many very talented animal communicators. Here’s what Christine had to say about the healing session she received as part of her student mentoring:
Babette, Well… I don’t know what you did to me (LOL) but yesterday afternoon I had a beautiful feeling of overall joy and contentedness. I was smiling for no reason and I had a fun giggle session with my dog this morning. It felt like I hadn’t laughed in forever. I did an animal communication session this afternoon. I asked the dog, “Can I help with anything?” and got a picture of what looked like a sparkly green and black St. Patty’s day hat. The dog’s owner said she actually did dress her dog up in a green sparkly witches hat for Halloween, but her dog didn’t like it. Maybe she was trying to tell me, “no more sparkly green hat please.”
You are RIGHT. I can do this… I AM doing it!!
Griff was afraid to get on the seesaw at a dog agility show. Griff communicated that he was afraid of the clacking sound the seesaw made when it hit the ground, and showed an incident when the seesaw had been set incorrectly and bounced up as he moved off it. Griff agreed to take the seesaw again, if his person, Mark, would promise to check the safety of the seesaw before every agility run.
Mark wrote: Today, for the first time in two years, Griff took the seesaw early in a run, and continued with me and finished the course, and qualified. I did bring him near the seesaw before the run so he could see me testing it as we said I would. I also have been letting him do a little more sniffing around more, as he said he loved it so. I don’t know how many big successes you have. But if this sticks, it will be phenomenal.
Update: Griff’s success didn’t stick as well as we would have liked. Sometimes you get the overnight miracle, sometimes you have to peel the onion, and sometimes, you get a little of both. Griff did have a miraculous turnaround, but then did some backsliding. Griff’s initial success with the seesaw was followed by a lack of focus in some subsequent agility runs. I call this the iceberg phenomenon in healing. When we melt one part of the iceberg, another, hidden part pops up out of the water. Or, a problem that has always been there replaces the just-resolved issue at the top of our list of priorities. When this sort of thing happens, it can help to do ongoing healing sessions for a month or two, to keep a gentle pressure on moving forward until the core issue has been resolved, or a list of unrelated problems has been knocked out, one by one.
My friend Amanda’s soft heart prompted her to bring home a dog with problems. She asked for my help, and I did a remote healing session for Luka. The session required three ‘booster’ sessions, because sometimes you get the overnight miracle, and other times, you have to peel the onion back layer by layer. The three sessions took place over a period of two months, but Luka experienced a big shift with the first session.
Amanda wrote: We rescued Luka off of Craigslist. She was people-scared. She growled and jumped at every little sound. She wouldn’t let anyone touch her, but my husband and myself. She also had a problem with nervous bladder. After Babette did the first session, there was an immediate change. Now, she even allows strangers to pet her, and she is much more relaxed. Can’t thank Babette enough for helping our little girl!!!
I spoke with Astrid remotely during a Metaphysical Expo. Astrid’s human, Daike, expressed concern that Astrid didn’t seem to be truly bonded with her. In our conversation, Astrid said that she felt deep shame and grief because she had been banished from her birth family after doing something wrong. I explained that puppies are often given a new home when they are old enough to leave their mother. I also did a remote Body Talk session to help Astrid release those misconceptions.
Daike wrote: I AM BEYOND words to express the IMMEDIATE change when I got home! Even the LOVE that emanated throughout the sitting time space was beautiful. The CHANGE extraordinary–it was/is a beautiful transition and I’m in awe of your work! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!
I met Chloe’s person Karen at a metaphysical expo. I communicated with Chloe remotely, since this was a people-only event and Chloe was waiting at home. Energy healing of extreme fear brought on by past experiences came up as a priority. Using a combination of Body Talk, Matrix Energetics, and Reiki, I gave Chloe the healing session remotely.
Karen wrote: Omg!!! The change in Chloe has been amazing!! She is much calmer and is showing signs that she knows that she is loved and will not be harmed. Normally she jumps at every little movement and that is not the case anymore. Thank you….Thank you….Thank you. I wish I had met you much sooner for Chloe’s sake.
Update: I saw Karen two years later, and she reported that Chloe is still doing well!
