Nancy’s kitty story:
I adopted Mobi and Skoda, my two tabby brothers, four years ago, coincidentally right when the pandemic lockdown hit. They were very shy kitties, and strongly bonded to each other, so it took awhile to get them to trust me enough to come out of their favorite cat house on my second-floor landing for anything other than food. But now they are quite vocal in demanding my attention when I’ve spent too much time writing at my computer. They also require at least an hour of lap-sitting at the end of each day. Of course, with two of them, I have to stretch my legs out on an ottoman to give them enough room to curl up together. There is nothing more delightful than having two soft, warm kitties purring on my lap! I even named my self-publishing company after them: Tabby Brothers Press. In this photo, Mobi and Skoda are getting up to mischief under the Christmas tree. Yes, I’ve lost a few ornaments to their shenanigans, but I don’t mind…much.
