Super Simple Extra Healthy Coleslaw

I almost feel like I’m being lazy by including this recipe, but you know, laziness is one of my superpowers, and I want to honor that trait because it has saved me a ton of work and worry in my life. I once took a random personality quiz that yielded home-hitting results: I’m highly motivated and intrinsically lazy.

This means (to me) that while I feel driven to do my best and achieve my goals, I don’t want to expend any unnecessary effort. In other words, I’m determined to change the world, but only in the easiest way possible. I want to work smarter, not harder.

I didn’t know coleslaw could be anything other than disgusting until I tasted this basic recipe:

  • Buy a bag of unseasoned coleslaw mix and dump into a salad bowl.

  • Add a splash of olive oil and an equal amount of lime juice.

  • Season to taste with salt and pepper.

You don’t have to do anything more! But you don’t have to stop here, either! It’s easy to make this recipe your own in the laziest way possible! You could…

  • Add your favorite sprouted greens or seeds.

  • Add crushed nuts.

  • Add sliced veggies and fruits.

It’s so easy! But you can make it harder if you want to. It’s up to you to make this recipe yours! I hope you’ll share your own modifications and additions, because we’re all better when we learn from one another!

Please feel free to share! :)
