Animal Rescue Spotlight – Meet Dylan

Five weeks ago we pulled Dylan from Demopolis animal control. She was absolutely terrified of everything and the whole world was a scary place. Dylan went to a foster home about a month ago. She’s incredibly fortunate to have such amazing foster parents who were willing to put in the time and energy she needed. Now Dylan walks on a leash, is crate trained, loves people, dogs, being outdoors, and enjoying snuggly bed time with her foster parents. She’s about 9-10 months old, spayed, vaccinated and heartworm negative.

What Dylan Has to Say

I would love to be a babysitter! I would’ve been a terrific mother, and though I never got to do that, I’d love to have the chance to take care of the human babies in my new family. It doesn’t matter whether those human babies are infants or teenagers, I’ll take care of them! I have a strong desire to care for others, whether that means looking out for teenagers, toddlers, puppies, or kittens. I’d also be good at caring for elders who need extra supervision, I just want to take care of my people and their animal friends. I’m a caretaker, and whether I have a big extended family to care for, or just one person or animal who needs to feel protected and loved, I can do that. I’d love to be loved, but it means even more to me to be needed.
